Hydrating and Healing Green Smoothie

Servings: 1

1 lb. mixed greens:  like Kale, bok choy, spinach, romaine, swiss chard

1-2 cups of chopped fruit of your choice:  pineapple, bananas, mango, mixed berries, melon, etc. Your choice. (I like them frozen!)

¼ cup whole, organic flaxseeds

5 cups Filtered Water: enough to reach almost to the top of the greens in the blender

  1.  In the container of a high speed blender (Vitamix) pack your greens to fill the container ¾ full.
  2. Add flaxseeds.
  3. Add fruit to reach the top of the blender
  4. Pour in water. Blend until super smooth.
  5. Drink all day long…you must finish it!!!
  6. Say Yay for flooding your body with health!

 

Smoothie will be bright green if using light colored fruit:  bananas are a must!, pineapple, peaches, mangos, kiwi, etc.  If using blueberries or blackberries the smoothie will be army green.  Both great at fighting any sinister goings on in our bodies!!!
