Sangria’s humble roots come from Spain, and is a hugely popular refreshing party drink around the world. This fruity punch usually calls for red wine but can leave you feeling like you want to recline!  We substituted the red wine with refreshing red beet juice, and it’s so delicious and energizing that you’ll feel like partying all night long!

Red Beet Sangria

Servings: 2-4 cups
  • 2 cups beet juice (from about 3-4 medium sized red beets)
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup green apple juice
  • ¼ cup lime juice or more to taste
  • 2 cinnamon sticks broken in half
  • 2 cups chopped fruit (seeded cherries, chopped apple, sliced oranges, melons)

Mix juices and cinnamon in a beautiful 1-½ quart or larger container.  Add chopped fruit and stir. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
