Mini-Me Chocolate Donuts

Garden of Eydie Quick & Easy Kale Salad

I first learned about making a Kale Salad from a beautiful woman named Jasmine, who provided cleanses for her clients. She added Spirulina powder, which turns the Kale salad a bright green color. It doesn’t change the flavor, much, but adds a ton of nutrition. I added Goji berries to sweeten the salad, as well as garlic and cumin to round out all the flavors. It’s so delicious and so healthy. GO for it.


Curried Cauliflower with Scallions and Golden Raisins

One of my favorite chefs is Alfred Portale of Gotham Bar & Grill, NYC. I love him and his food so much, that I celebrated my graduation from the French Culinary Institute there, with my best girlfriend and soon to be husband, Ed! Chef pulled out all the stops for me.

I am “plant-basing” many of his recipes and excluding salt, oil and sugar. This dish tastes amazing SOS free!



Fruit, Veggie and Cookie Dough Balls

Inspiration can come in many different ways. In this particular case, it was all about ease, and of course, taste. I wanted to create something simple, yet nutritious and delicious! Each “dough ball” has a unique quality to nourish the body, in different ways. For example, carrots are high in Vitamin C, which helps in the formation of collagen and absorption of iron. Blueberries are considered to be “the king of antioxidants”. They can protect against premature aging AND have the ability to reduce blood pressure. Cookie dough is…cookie dough.  Enough said! –Ashley


Caramel Corn

Now you don’t have to go all the way to the cinema to enjoy delicious, but pricey, popcorn. This homemade popcorn is BETTER THAN WHAT YOU CAN GET AT THE MOVIES and 10 times healthier. This also makes for the perfect lunchtime snack for your child at school. It will keep them thinking about you (and loving you!) even when they’re not with you.  –Ashley
