Do we really need an excuse for this creation? Peanut butter? Check. Chocolate? Check. Sweet, creamy goodness in every bite? CHECK! What else is there? These are your healthy and easy alternatives to Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. You’re welcome!
1- Pour ¼ cup peanut butter into a small bowl and mix in 1 ½ tablespoons of maple syrup and ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract.
2- Scoop out mixture into a mini silicone cupcake pan, filling each cup with ½ tablespoon. Set aside.
3- Pour ¼ cup peanut butter into a small bowl and mix in 1 ½ tablespoons of maple syrup, ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract AND 1 tablespoon cocoa powder.
4- Repeat the scooping process. Top each already filled peanut butter cup with ½ tablespoon of the chocolate mixture.
5- Freeze for at least 1 hour to firm.
6- Eat immediately after removing from freezer.
