Caramel Corn

Now you don’t have to go all the way to the cinema to enjoy delicious, but pricey, popcorn. This homemade popcorn is BETTER THAN WHAT YOU CAN GET AT THE MOVIES and 10 times healthier. This also makes for the perfect lunchtime snack for your child at school. It will keep them thinking about you (and loving you!) even when they’re not with you.


  • 1 bag microwavable popcorn (cooked)
  • Caramel Coat:
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 TB almond butter
  • 1 TB ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup maple sugar


Preheat oven to 300℉

1- Place popcorn bag in the microwave and cook according to box directions.

2- Pour cooked popcorn onto a parchment lined cookie sheet. Set aside.

Making the caramel coat:

1- Place maple syrup and almond butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir for 3-4 minutes.

2- Add cinnamon and maple sugar.

3- Remove from heat and pour over popcorn.

4- Use a wooden spoon or silicone spatula to stir and evenly coat the popcorn.

5- Bake for 15 minutes. Let sit for another 15 minutes to cool.

Nutrition Per Serving:  150 calories, 4.5g total fat, 0.5g saturated fat, 0g trans fat, 0mg cholesterol, 20mg sodium, 27g carbohydrate, 2g fiber, 23g sugar, 22g added sugar, 2g protein
